How to Upload Pictures
The bulk of pictures at TVPhotoGalleries.com come from members.
Uploading photos is easy and fast, below are the necessary steps
required to upload pictures:
- Step 1 - Register: To
upload pictures you must be a registered member of Cable TV
Talk. (Both Cable TV Talk and TV Photo Galleries use the same
member database). Visit the
registration page at Cable TV
Talk to chose a username.
- Step 2 - Login: Visit
the
Login page and enter your
username and password. If you have lost your password or have
trouble logging in, the login page will provide links to help
you resolve those problems.
- Step 3 - Select Pictures to
Upload: Once logged in you will see an
Upload Photos link on the top
right of your screen. Once on the Upload Page you can Browse
your computer for the picture you would like to upload, you then
hit the Upload/Submit button.
- Step 4 - Name Uploaded
Pictures: After uploading the pictures you will then be
prompted to enter a name, description, and other information
about that picture. If possibly please try to title the picture
as detailed as possible. If you know the copyright information
pertaining to the picture that would also be helpful.
Guidelines
When uploading pictures to TVPhotoGalleries.com please follow these
guidelines:
- At this time only .JPG
files can be upload
If you attempt to upload .GIF or
any other file format it will not work.
- Do not upload duplicate
pictures
Before uploading a picture make sure a similar version has
not already been uploaded.
- You are responsible for the
content your upload
Be sure to upload only television related pictures. Use the
"Report Photo" link listed on each page to report pictures which
you deem to be inappropriate.
